Andrew Hodge concentrates on private client work including Wills, Executries and Powers of Attorney. From time to time, he acts as a Financial Guardian. He has a good knowledge of the local area and the people who have shaped it over his forty years of practice.

Kevin has been in legal practice for over 30 years and is a key member of our Coupar Angus office.

His wide-ranging expertise includes:

• Residential and commercial property law and conveyancing
• Family law
• Wills, trusts, and executries
• Civil litigation
• Adults with incapacity

Kevin is known for placing his clients’ interests at the heart of his work. His practice is built on long-standing relationships, client satisfaction, and empathy and practical, results-driven advice. Having lived locally for more than three decades, Kevin has and continues to be actively involved in various community groups.

Steve qualified over 30 years ago and prior to doing so was a Law Lecturer. He also hosted a Law related Radio Programme. He holds a Masters in Law.

His main area of expertise is in criminal and civil court representation; including children’s hearings and adoption cases. He is regularly instructed in the preparation of court reports.

Alison has been in practice in the Tayside area for thirty five years, and the last twenty six years as a partner with Watson & Lyall Bowie and then Hodge Solicitors LLP following our merger in 2023.

Her areas of expertise are:

• Wills, Trusts and Executries
• Inheritance tax planning and advice
• Powers of Attorney

Alison is friendly and approachable and will always ensure transactions are completed efficiently and on time. Alison lives locally and has a good knowledge of the local area and community.

Ryan joined the firm in 2017 as a trainee solicitor and has remained at our Blairgowrie office since qualifying as a solicitor.

Ryan is friendly and approachable and likes to put clients at ease with his friendly and down to earth approach.

Erin joined the firm in 2021 as a trainee solicitor and has remained at our Blairgowrie office since qualifying as a solicitor. She works closely with individuals and families, offering advice through all stages of life—from preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney to guiding clients through Executries. She provides practical, empathetic guidance on estate planning and supports families through the estate administration process.

Mike Tavendale has over 45 years’ experience representing clients in the Courts of Tayside and beyond, both in criminal and civil matters. He is regularly instructed in the preparation of Reports by the Court and has a sound understanding of the day to day problems facing clients and the potential solutions to those problems.

Angela has over 20 years of experience in sales and joined Property@Hodge in 2015. She is based in our Property Shop at 33 Wellmeadow, Blairgowrie.

Her expertise includes:

• Residential property valuations (sales)
• Residential property valuations (lettings)
• Negiotiating offers to buy and sell
• Extensive local knowledge
• Photography
